You know those ads which catch your attention and
have
you running for your credit card or wallet? These ads are conveying an
offer that is hard to refuse.
How would you like to make your ads that convincing?
Do you think that you need to be an experienced writer to create ads
like these, or is there a formula out there that you can follow?
Writing persuasive ads is a skill that you can learn, for sure. You
just need to break it down into 4 easy steps.
Step # 1.
The first thing you need to do in order to write a great sales letter
is to find out who your target market will be.
Although this is an easy step, surprisingly very few online marketers
do it.
I really do wonder about some of the ads that I receive in my inbox.
Here's a very important truth for you: not everyone out there is going
to be your prospect. You want to focus on the ones that are.
Always identify your target market before you begin an ad campaign.
Step # 2.
After you've determined your target market, you'll want to identify
their major problems.
* Do they require more cash?
* Do they want more free time?
* Would they like to improve their health?
You'll want to figure out what sort of problems your prospects have,
and then come up with a product or service that will help them resolve
this problem.
There are always lots of problems out there in the real world but there
are very few problem solvers. If you become a good problem solver, you
will be very successful in this business.
Alright, so now we have a target market and we know what their problems
are. It's time to move on to step 3.
Step # 3.
The first thing that we will do in step 3 is to let our prospects know
that we can solve their problem. We have the solution!
We will make sure our prospect knows that we can help.
Make them aware of all the benefits they will receive after they order
your product or service.
Tell your prospect that you can help them:
* Earn extra cash
* Have more free time
* Become more healthy
Step # 4.
In this last step, we will learn to write our own ad copy so that our
prospect will take action.
Completing the first 3 steps above is not enough.
You must entice your prospect to act.
You must also create a sense of urgency.
Here are several ways you can do this:
* Offer a special discount if they order right away.
* Offer a special bonus (like a free ebook, for instance).
* Ask your prospect for the order.
* Tell them that they don't have to put up with their problems anymore.
* Tell them you can solve them now.
These four steps are a basic outline to get you started.
In the future, whenever you read a sales letter, study it and break it
down into the 4 steps.
After your read, decide how well the author covered these four steps.
Now make some notes on how you could improve on this letter.
Learning to write great sales letters is a life long project.
Remember the 4 step formula the next time you decide to write a sales
letter:
1. Identify your target market
2. Identify your prospect's problem
3. Tell your prospect that you can solve their problem
4. Ask for the order
