However, you need to be careful in manipulating your social network account. You need to always stay on the safer side of things for you to enjoy your stay. To do this, here are some tips to help you stay on the safe zone.
As you sign up for an account in some social networking sites, you should bear in mind that the password is very important and you should put more emphasis on it. Most people do not really care about their password and just come up with silly words as their password. When registering for an account, always create a password that is stealthy.
While it is much more convenient to make your birthdays or your full name as your security code, such a combination can easily be hacked. It is highly recommended that you have an alphanumeric password. In this way, it will be hard for hackers to figure out your security combination.
When you have already established your profile and you’re on your way to providing contents, you have to be very careful on everything that you place in your site. For example, if you’re going to upload something that you have downloaded from a particular site, you have to make sure that the file is virus free to ensure the safety of your account.
There are some accounts that are shut down because of some virus and spy ware found in their account. Aside from that, if your account is found to have a lot of viruses, you may be branded as a spammer.

Nice advice for beginners like me. Yes, I understand the importance of security in these social networking sites. I have heard few instances wherein people have lost access to their accounts and others have misused them, creating a great nuisance.
I personally, am skeptical to create on account on these social networking sites. However, it has become imperative to use them and people without an account in facebook or twitter are looked down.

I did not know that! I have many accounts in various social networking sites. I have had one or two of them blocked and or suspended. I have never understood why. Now I know. Thanks! I’ll be more careful with viruses.
