Get Traffic to your Site Fast through Social Networking

I have a personal blog about opinions concerning politics and other social issues. I wanted to get as many opinions as possible since it is good to learn from what other people think. At the same time, I can learn about facts that I may not be aware of.

I started making comments on other people’s blogs and I had good traffic for some time. Later on, it became harder and harder to do the same process since reading blog posts takes too much time and not to mention, it is not a guarantee that you get traffic by doing it. Sometimes, you get fired for promoting your blog while other times people disagree with you and delete your comment. So aside from being tiresome, this method of promotion contributes little to your traffic.

It was just recently when I learned about social networking sites. As someone addicted to blogging, I rarely visited these networks since I initially found them pointless and boring. A friend of mine who has been active in social networking groups, posted a link to my blog on her page.

It was then that people started visiting my blog using the link from my friend’s social networking page. I was convinced that I could get three times more readers by effortlessly posting a link on my social networking page as compared to going through blogs and posting comments. Since then, I have healthy traffic coming in every day. I get to interact both through social networking sites and replying to comments on my blog.
