Build Rapport With Your Prospective Clients Through Social Networking Sites

Posted on July 14th, 2009 | by John Baril |

Social networking sites are the best venue to earn traffic and get clients at the same time. It is the magic of a social networking group that makes people interact despite geographic and non tangible distances. Creating an account is easy. All you need to do is visit any social networking site. Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter are the most popular sites today. Fill in the needed information on the registration page and you are good to go.

When creating a profile, be as personal as possible. Do not mention or include anything about your business just yet. You will need to establish rapport with a social network where you can promote your business. Add as many friends as you can. At the same time, add links, pictures, and other fun and interesting stuff in your profile. You can also post bulletins about your business while joining forums and chat rooms to discuss possible business opportunities.

Remember not to overdo the promotion especially when you are a newbie in the site. Although it may vary form one site to another, the common possibility if you overdo promotion is that your account or even your IP address may be banned from the site. You may also get negative feedback about your product if you do it the wrong way. So make sure to establish a good rapport and slowly introduce your business. This may look complicated and slow but the truth is, this method has worked for many businesses in the past.
