 Internet marketing is a tool – another way for people to sell their products or services.  It differs from regular marketing because it isn’t intrusive.  Big companies are slow to see the benefits of internet marketing and still prefer to spend mega bucks on the kind of advertising that you see on the TV, between programs, during programs, etc; etc.  However it is becoming a less and less effective way to reach the consumer.  More and more people are using TiVo to record their favorite programs and skip through the commercials which are designed to persuade them to buy a particular item or service.
