40 highly effective ways to get tons of traffic to your website or blog – Part 2

Here is the continuation of a series of 3 articles on 40 highly effective traffic methods:

 16. Review a product and email the company asking them for inclusion in their press section. If it’s creative and positive, then chances are they will pick it up! 

17. Write something creative, informative and useful about your niche and pass it along to other bloggers or webmasters to let them know about it. If it’s good they will often link to you. 

18. Use social bookmarking tools. This way you can send your articles to many social bookmarking sites simultaneously! Onlywire.com is a great free tool for this. This can truly reap you tons of traffic with little effort. 

19. Submit your site to social bookmarking sites each and everyday.  

20. Post regularly in forums that are related to your nice. You can point to your site in your signature file.  

21. Harness the traffic generating power of Yahoo Answers! You can answer questions informatively and link back to your site in the resource box. If your input is of value to the readers, they will most likely visit the site you link to, out of curiosity. This is a great way to find targeted buyers. People have problems. Solve them and you will be rewarded! 

22. Post regularly in Google and Yahoo groups. Be sure to include a link back to your site in your signature. Yahoo groups is a great source for finding targeted traffic and prospective customers! 

23. Create a 404 error page that will redirect visitors to your website. This will help ensure that you will not lose potential visitors. 

24. Include an opt-in form on your website to capture visitor’s email addresses. You can then market to them in the form of weekly of monthly newsletters. They say “the money is in the list”, and they’re right! Entice them to sign up by offering a free e-book, report, etc.
