Internet marketing is using the internet to advertise and sell something. You may sell a product or service and there are several ways to do this.

1. Email marketing is a great way to use the Internet to make money because people send and receive e-mail every day. The key to making money with email marketing is to build a quality list of people who expect to hear from you. The best way to do this is to use an auto responder and set it up with a series of prewritten messages. Then either buy co-registration leads, which is the quickest way to do e-mail marketing, or promote a landing page and capture the names yourself.

2. Today there is nothing more popular on the Internet than social networking. You are probably familiar with Face Book, My Space, and more recently to Twitter.

One way to do Internet marketing is to network in social situations and build relationships with people. Then it is only natural for them to want to learn a little bit more about how you are making money online.

3. Are you familiar with blogging?  You probably are because there are thousands of new blogs started every day.

This is a great way to do Internet marketing because it is easy to set up a free blog with Blogger.com or Wordpress. You can monetize your blog with affiliate programs such as Google Adsense and earn commissions whenever someone clicks on a Google ad on your blog.

This is three ways to do Internet marketing. There are many more but these three are all proven ways to make money today online.
