Why “Quitting” An Internet Affiliate Marketing Program May Sometimes Be A Good Thing
Posted on January 3rd, 2010 | by John Baril |Internet affiliate marketing experts sometimes quote the phrase, “a winner never quits” to remind themselves that they should never give up even if they fail to make money with a particular affiliate program.
In an industry where more than 95% of the people quit and never make money, persistence can be a virtue.
Persistence is one of the keys to real internet affiliate marketing success. Nobody makes money by throwing up a website, surfing around on a traffic exchange, buying advertising through a Co-op, and sleeping in late.
As big of a mistake as it is to give up on an affiliate program too soon, it’s also pointless to stick with a flawed program believing that a winner never quits.

Hi John,
You bring up sopme very good points. You need to do sufficient research about affiliate programs before signing on. If after signing on and with proper testing and after an ample amount of time of trying with no results, it may be time to change tactics or change programs.

Hi,
I think one problem is some (a lot of) peoples think about internet business and affiliate programe is something get rich quick. You need to take the time to build your business like any other. I look a lot before I choose my affiliate programe and it’s the best. They provide all tools to be successful and you can start for free.
I think one big probleme is we can find to many scam or almost scam. The person think they will make the same amount of money of the guy who start is programe. But this guy have it up and running since a long time.
The best is time and learning.
Continue your work!
