Do you suffer from a common affiliate marketing ailment known as “signupitis”? It is a terrible virus that destroys the victim’s ability to focus and causes sensations of confusion and lethargy. In short, it is an affiliate marketing killer disease. Internet marketers who sign up to one affiliate online program after another seldom follow through on any of them. In order to make money with Internet affiliate marketing you need to focus your efforts on one thing at a time.

Hi John,
It is very easy to sign up for an affiliate program, and the loose focus and get distracted by the next “big idea”. Keeping focus on a select few seems to be the key to success in affiliate marketing online.

Focus is one of the hardest things to achieve online, with so many different sources constantly vying for your attention. I’ll admit to signing up to a fair few affiliate programs I haven’t gotten around to using yet.

I certainly know what you two are talking about as I have indeed fallen into that trap before too. At one time, I had about 5 affiliate programs on the go and now I have taken it right down to 1. This, by the way is working much better for me.
