Affiliate marketing is a great way for webmasters and bloggers to make money online. There are literally millions of affiliate products sold each day and every sale gives the referring individual a certain commission percentage.

So how can you start making money as an affiliate?

If you simply stick with tried and tested methods of affiliate marketing, there is no way you can fail! There really is no secret to affiliate marketing success. By working hard each day and doing a set of actions daily, your success will be guaranteed! It might take some time to see results, but dedication and smart work will not go by unnoticed.  There are three basic principles required to make money as an affiliate.

1. Create a unique website or blog to promote the products you are marketing. 

It is essential that you have a site or blog that positively promotes the products you are marketing. All you need is one single hosting account. With this you can host an unlimited amount of websites, in most cases.

Writing keyword rich articles are a great way to get unique content. Wordtracker has a great free keyword tool for looking up keywords. Write reviews and talk about how the products you are pushing has helped you personally.

2. Have something free to offer your readers such as e-books, reports, etc.

Put these regularly in your webpage/blog to entice readers and offer them something of value. You can also offer them in your email auto responder messages along with affiliate products. This way they won’t feel pressured to buy anything.

3. Ensure that you reach your target audience and get the right kind of traffic to make sales.

You need to target the right kind of target audience for affiliate success. Write one or two articles per week, at least 400 words in length. If you have a difficult time with writing, then get your article ghost written.
