If
You Want To Have Multiple Blogs, How Many Should You Have?

A
question that a number of Internet marketers
ask when they think about taking advantage of blogging as a method of
marketing
their business is, “If I want to set up multiple blogs, how
many is a good
number”?
The
biggest objection to running multiple blogs
is time! It is quite pointless if after you set up several different
blogs you
are then pushed for time to regularly update them with fresh content,
giving
the multiple blogs insufficient nourishment that they need to grow.
If
you are going to set up more than one blog,
make sure that the purpose of each blog is clearly defined. If each
blog has no
clear intention behind it and in what it sets out to accomplish for the
reader,
you will constantly be wondering which blog to prioritize for certain
content
and might end up jumping from blog to blog, writing less content, and
less
focused content for each one.
So
now we have looked at the potential pitfalls
of setting up multiple blogs, let’s look at the pros as if
you can do it right,
you can reap plenty of benefits from your efforts.
In
the case of affiliate marketers, in a lot of
circumstances, they are usually balancing two businesses in conjunction
with
each other.
To
begin, the affiliate marketer receives a
percentage of the sales made from selling products provided by the
parent
company. It could be a single product or a whole range of products that
he is
trying to sell.
In
the latter circumstance, when you have
several things you can see, setting up one blog per product or per
range of
products can prove to be very successful in relation to boosting the
amount of
traffic and being awarded with a high page ranking for specific
keywords. Thus
in this case, multiple highly focused blogs would be a great way to
build your
website’s presence.
When
affiliates employ network marketing, the
majority of them will also be eager to advertise the business
opportunity.
However, many of the targeted audience you are directing your product
to may
not want to promote your business opportunity, as they may simply be
more
interested in the products themselves.
So
it would be a valuable time investment if you
were to set up a separate blog where you write solely about the
business
opportunity, linking it to the affiliate company you’ve
signed up to.
An
additional way you can run multiple blogs
would be by differentiating the sort of content that you write about
within
each blog. For example, your first blog may be 100% of your own
original
content; the second blog can then be used to promote your niche market
using
reworked plr material. This means the second blog could be updated
quite
quickly with modified material that takes just a few minutes to edit
and make
unique, thus leveraging your precious time while multiplying your
productive
output.
So
as we have seen, make sure you set clearly
defined purposes and objectives before you begin to use multiple blogs.
If you
do that, you will boost your website presence, your traffic levels, and
hopefully your business will begin to take off as a result.
I
wish you the best of success,
