If you want to help your online business develop and grow, a great way to it do is by setting up a personal blogging platform or two and updating them regularly with articles and other fresh content.

But if you’re a newbie, you may be finding the large campus we call the Internet confusing to navigate around at times. So this article is intended to give you a quick grounding in the "where", "how" and "why" of blogging and to help you get rid of the "blogging collywobbles" that you may be suffering from.

When many newbie marketers have second thoughts about personal blogging, it is not the process of setting up a new blog which daunts them. Instead, it is finding new tops to write about on a regular basis that puts people off. Many people feel that they have to be an expert on the subject before they are qualified to blog about it. Therefore, as they lack expertise, they shy away from numerous topic areas and as often as not they conclude that they are simply not qualified to write at all. However, what they do not realize is that this "weakness" - a lack of expertise - can be turned into a strength just by redeploying it as a resource in its own right.

You can do this by carrying out investigations on the stuff you don't know about by consulting books, the World Wide Web and by asking questions on one or other of the numerous online forums. When doing this, you are gathering all the necessary knowledge and information you need, which means you'll quickly be able to write an informative, helpful post. So you can conquer this fear just by taking action and carrying out a bit of research.

Actually, you can start personal blogging even before you have done any research. Simply turn your ignorance of a topic into a series of questions and use your blog as a place where you can ask your questions.

Next, head over to a marketing discussion forum and post your questions there. When you begin to get replies, you can use the ideas they contain for further posts to your blog. So now, by addressing your lack of knowledge you have managed to produce two related blog posts. There is now no reason why you cannot write a whole chain or series of posts related to the discoveries you make along these lines.

If you have read an article that has inspired you, feel free to write a blog post about it ensuring you acknowledge your source. Use a hyperlink and don't worry if your readers leave your site in search of more information as this can be very helpful for them. Also, by helping them, you never know, your blog may just develop a loyal fan base!

Another good way to get into the flow of things on your blog is by writing your own diary type account of how you have developed into the marketer you are today, or how you came to aspire to become an Internet marketer and the progress you have made so far, what road blocks you have faced along the way and how you have overcome them.

This will give others help and guidance by providing blogs that newbie marketers will find very beneficial if they are just starting to set up their own website.

At the end of the day, never fear that you have no knowledge on a subject and certainly do not conclude that you simply cannot write about it. Instead, develop a personal blogging strategy based upon your lack of knowledge and respond proactively to your situation to make the most of it and you will become a blogging pro in no time

I wish you the best of success,
