The
Niche Strategy For Internet Website

Niche
websites
are marketing websites that focus
on a single product, service, or a range of products and services that
are targeted
to a very specifically defined niche market.
Setting
up
niche websites is becoming a more and
more popular form of Internet website marketing, and the most used
blogging
platform is WordPress. It only takes a few pages of unique content
promoting a
single product on your niche website to be in business.
If
you
have
your own unique product to bring to
the market where demand is high, it may not take very much at all to
start
seeing a trickle of sales.
If
that
is the
case, do not take it easy by not
doing anything more than that. Once your site is up and running, do
some tasks
that will increase your income.
First
of
all,
you will want to prevent your site
from going stale. Add fresh content to your site on a regular basis and
promote
it all over the internet.
Second,
as soon
as your first site is making
money and turning a profit, you will want to go ahead and build another
niche
website. You do not have to have each site you build related in any
way. They
can each be a different niche if you want; a completely standalone
mini-business.
If
you
don’t have a wide range of your own
products that would appeal to different niche markets, do not panic.
What
you
can do
is search for some products that
provide affiliate programs and become an affiliate marketer for those
products.
You can find a lot of affiliate products on Clickbank or Affiliate
Junction,
just to name a couple of affiliate sites.
When
searching
for a product to promote,
remember the market you are appealing to. You want to find a good
product that
has a viable market.
Try
to
find
products that have not been oversold
by other affiliates. With Clickbank products, you can determine the
level of
competition by checking to see what the gravity of the product is.
"Gravity" shows the popularity of a product among affiliates. If you
can find a product that is high quality, offers a good profit margin,
has a
relatively low gravity and looks like something that your target market
will
buy, then go for it!
Now
your
next
stop is to head over to
Google.com/Adwords and make use of their free keyword research tool.
Search for
a range of keywords that are relevant to your product and relatively
long tail.
How would somebody searching for the product describe it on Google in
three
words, or four words, or five words, for example? Ideally, you want to
find
keyword phrases that have a relatively low volume of competition, and
that have
more than 1,000 monthly searches.
Now
the
time
has come to write some articles
about the niche market you are operating in and about the product
itself. These
articles should be placed on your website, but also spread them around
article
directories, blogs, and lenses on squidoo.com. Each time you post an
article,
make sure you include a link back to your Wordpress website.
Make
sure that
the tone of your Wordpress niche
website is friendly and genuinely informative. It should not just be a
link
farm with lots of links to your sales pages. The more valuable and
unique
information you place on your niche websites, the better they will
perform both
on Google and other search engines, and in converting your visitors
into
customers.
Niche
Internet
website marketing can be built up
into a very lucrative business by taking small amounts of money from a
large
number of easy to maintain niche websites that can all be run from a
multiple
domain web hosting account for ten dollars a month or less.
