Are you aware that publishing ebooks is easy? Just a couple hours of work, and you can produce and publish an e-book. Upload your newly created e-book to a high traffic e-book website and use it to build your newsletter list and promote your online business. Once you have uploaded your e-book, you won't have to do anything else to it, but it will continue to generate new leads for you to contact day after day.

After you try publishing ebooks and see that it works, you’ll want to repeat the process over and over creating different e-books to multiply your efforts.

Here's how to make this strategy work for you.

1. Give away your e-book.

2. Make your e-book lockable.

3. Find the best places on the internet to upload your e-book to.

4. Use an auto-responder to collect the names and e-mail addresses of leads you gather from giving away your e-books.

So, let's expand on each of these points and fill in the details. This article will explain to you a quick method of making an e-book, publishing it and giving it away.

If you already have an e-book written for your target market, you might want to use that. Don't worry if you don’t have an e-book or find the idea of writing an e-book too daunting. The quickest way for publishing ebooks under your own name is to find a "Private Label Rights" (PLR) product that comes with giveaway rights. You can find numerous products by doing an easy Google search. When you find an e-book that you want to use, make sure you have the right to give the product away. A PLR e-book with no giveaway rights is of no use to us for this project.

When you have found a suitable product for your niche market, download it to your hard drive, unzip it and check the contents. A good quality PLR e-book will probably include a text version of the book as a Word document that can be easily modified. Before you make any changes to the text, you will want to read through the book carefully to make sure that it is a good quality product. You don't want to give away junk.

What should you modify?

You’ll want to first change the title of the e-book. Be sure to include your most important keyword phrase. It is essential to get the title right to attract a great amount of targeted traffic, so take some time to think about the keywords you use in your title.

Next, you’ll want to add your name to the title page of the e-book. You could also add an introductory paragraph where you use your name, and also place your name and website link at the end of the book. A footer would be a good place to put this information in your e-book.

Think about any other place in the e-book where you could add a link to your website, or to a specific page of your site.

Once your modifications are completed, convert the modified Word document to a PDF file with Adobe Acrobat. If you don't have Word and Adobe, you can do everything using openoffice.org.

Once these steps are completed, you’ll have an e-book that you can use to promote your online business. In my next article, I will discuss how and why you should lock your e-book. Locking your e-book is an essential part of the e-book publishing technique that I will be discussing. I will then show you which e-book website to upload your e-book to for best results.

Publishing ebooks is a great and often overlooked way to promote your Internet business.

I wish you the best of success,
