The
Money Is In The Repeat Sales Of Your Email
Auto Responder Mailing List

A
lot of less experienced
Internet marketers are aware that building an auto responder mailing
list can
help them build sales, but still do not take full advantage of them.
Setting up
an email auto responder , writing a newsletter series that provide
valuable
content for their target market, and then building a mailing list of
potential
customers all seem like daunting exercises.
How
much easier it seems to
write and upload a couple of articles to a website or blog, or add some
banner
ads and link them through to an affiliate products sales page. That is
probably
why most newbie marketers focus most attention on their website instead
of
setting up a powerful email auto responder campaign and building a
mailing
list.
But
the fact remains that
the single most important thing you can do if you want to make money on
the
Internet is write a good e-mail letter series and use it to inform and
educate
your prospects about various aspects of the niche market you operate
in, and
about the unique benefits your products or services supply.
The
common phrase that
Internet marketers like to use, "the money is in the list," is only
true for those who know how to build an email auto responder list and
communicate effectively with it. If you write engaging and genuinely
informative newsletters that people in your market want to read, you
will
become known as an expert in your field and this will help you to win
sales on
products that you recommend in your newsletters.
Getting
the first sale is
always the hardest part. A well-written e-mail newsletter will enable
you to
present your products to your audience several times over, greatly
increasing
the likelihood of winning the first sale. A good mixture of empathy and
useful
information with your own unique perspective is often a winning
combination.
Make
sure every article is
written from your reader's point of view. Avoid exaggerated claims and
sales
hype in the main body of your e-mail, and especially in the title.
Once
someone has had a good
experience buying from you, and is satisfied with the product, they
will be
much more receptive to your offers when they receive them in their
inbox. Thus,
a well-written e-mail campaign will also generate repeat orders for
your
business. Repeat orders are where your real profits lie. Many marketers
are
willing to take a loss on the first sale just so that they can set
themselves
up to benefit from a regular flow of repeat sales from the same
customer.
So,
it might be more
accurate to say that, " the money is in the repeat orders that you
generate from your email auto responder list."
I
wish you the best of success,
