In this article I will show you how to upload a thank you page.

But first, here's a tip for when you upload your plr ebook: Don't put it where it can easily be found and stolen. Place it inside a couple of obscurely named directories.

Okay, now moving on to the main theme of this article, the "thank you" page. Let's look at how to set it up so as to squeeze some extra value from the sales process.

What Is A Thank-You Page?:

A "thank you" page is a page to which the customer is automatically redirected after purchasing a product from a website. The "thank you" page thanks the customer on your behalf for purchasing the product.

It also provides details about how the customer can either directly download the product or find out what to do in order to receive it and how to contact you if he or she has any questions. If you want the customer to be able to download the plr ebook from the "thank you" page, then you will need to include a link to the product itself. For example, if the plr ebook is in pdf format, your link will look like this:

http://www.yourURL.com/obscuree-
bookdirectoryfolder/howtotalktoyourpetgoldfish.pdf

Another option is to post a form on the "thank you" page that the customer will fill in, in order to receive a link to the plr ebook via e-mail and be added to your mailing list. This is a great way to grow your list, but make it clear to the customer that he will be placed on the list and can easily opt out.

The Follow Up Offer:

The best thing about a "thank you" page is that you can use it to follow up on the sale with a "special offer" and make some extra money at no extra expense to yourself.

Make a special offer that your customer will find difficult to refuse, such as a deep discount on a bundle of books related to the one he or she just purchased.

Add a Paypal button and when customers click through and purchase, you will need to have another "thank you" page in place to thank the customer for the follow up purchase.

That’s it for our mini series on how to market a PLR ebook.

I wish you the best of success,
