A very
powerful way to make money on the
Internet is using your website and blog to build a newsletter mail list
of
subscribers. However, you will not make any money from generating fresh
subscribers to your list if you don’t position yourself as
the expert in your
subscribers’ eyes and make them feel that you’re
worth listening to.
How
can
you do this if you’re not yet an
Internet marketing expert?
A
quick
and easy way to achieve this is to
preload your autoresponder with a series of pre-written newsletters
that have
been written by an expert. Or, another option is to send out a series
of PLR
articles and reports to your list. If you go this route, it’s
essential that
you provide only quality material for your subscribers. If you do this,
you’ll
be able to offer your growing subscriber list valuable information that
they’re
seeking without writing it yourself.
Once this system is set up, it’ll work on autopilot.
You’ll have an automated email series, and if it’s
written well and fits in with your main offer, you’ll
probably be able to generate some business and sales. However, there
are a couple of disadvantages with this “automated marketing"
method.
1.
If
you send out unmodified PLR material to
your subscribers, there isn’t a guarantee that
they’ll not read the same
material elsewhere on the Internet. Your claim to being a unique
authority will
then be undermined.
2.
This
method of communicating with your
newsletter mail list lacks the vital ingredients of spontaneity and
topicality.
The material you’re sending out isn’t the freshest,
and if you don’t regularly
update your preloaded material, it will eventually go stale. Fewer and
fewer of
your subscribers will read your e-mail newsletter, and of those that
do, fewer
will respond. If we are honest about it, there’s no such
thing as a 100%
automated online business that yields high conversion rates on
autopilot.
That
doesn’t mean that you should stop sending
out PLR material to your list. However, there are other things that you
should
do as well.
1.
Before sending out prewritten newsletter mail
broadcasts, modify some of the content to make it more of your own.
Stamp your
own identity on the material you are using.
2.
Review your newsletter series several times
per year. Eliminate anything that is now out of date, and be sure to
add
information about new developments related to the theme of your
newsletters.
3.
Make
good use of the "broadcast"
feature that your autoresponder has to send out extra mailings that
contain the
latest news content. This is a very valuable way to communicate any new
developments and ideas to your subscribers. It will also add the vital
elements
of spontaneity and topicality to your newsletter mail service, making
it much
more likely that people will want to read your mailings.
In
conclusion, your newsletter mail sent by
email is one of your most valuable resources for making money on the
Internet,
so don't neglect it.
I wish you the
best
of success,
