Due to this fact, there are companies that provide article distribution services for article writers. This allows you to publish articles on hundreds of different sites automatically, generating hundreds of backlinks to your website.

When the issue of duplicate content was a hot debate (which is nothing you need to worry about with article marketing), there were some article distribution companies that developed systems to allow you to modify and publish mostly unique versions of your articles on various article directories, which increases the value of your backlinks in the eyes of the search engines.

Even though these services and article marketing strategies are effective, I want to share with you a little different approach that will improve your search engine web page ranking for your chosen keywords by writing and publishing articles. You can achieve amazing and most of the time better results by publishing unique articles exclusively on individual websites.

There are websites that lead the field in your market, no matter what market you’re in. These websites attract a large amount of traffic every day, are ranked high by the search engines and are authorities in their market.

Your objective will be to get your articles published on a small number of these leading websites in your niche market. To do that, you’ll need to approach the owner of the website with a proposal and a sample of your work. You may be able to do this by e-mail, but you should also consider using the telephone or writing a letter. Check the website for contact details, and if possible, find the name of the person you need to talk to.

Now you need to write your proposal; your goal is to supply the website with a certain number of unique articles per month, which will be published exclusively on their website with your author details and website URL link included at the end of every article.

It’s import to stress that you’re proposing to write unique articles for the sole use of that authority website. So, if you’re already publishing articles on other directories, make sure you write an entirely different series of articles for each authority website that agrees to take your articles.

Once you have an agreement in place, start writing articles around specific keywords, and hyperlink those keywords with your URL backlink.
