If
you’re an internet marketer who thinks you
can hide behind your blog, write anonymous articles and be earning
several
thousand dollars every month doing it while remaining invisible and
unknown to
anyone, it's about time you woke up.
I literally
mean that, and I’ll explain why in a
minute.
For starters,
anyone wishing to start blogging
today is going to face some serious competition with over 15 million
new blogs
being started every month. Instead of following the crowd, you need to
be doing
everything possible to separate yourself from the crowd and be
different in
order to get yourself noticed.
Nowadays,
people are realizing the added
benefits of using multimedia on their blogs and not just photos and
static
voice messages. They are using videos and podcasts that allow their
blog
visitors to interact with it and subscribe to it in a variety of ways.
If
you're going to show your face on a video or talk to people via
podcasts or
recorded messages, it’s going to be difficult and practically
impossible to
stay anonymous.
The fact that
you are willing to show your face
and get your name known and recognized and make yourself available for
comment
and interaction will be a large factor in whether or not your blog will
be
successful and come out on top of your competition.
Let's look at
one extra factor that you could
use to make your blog stand out a little bit more.
What I'm
talking about is Skype.com. Skype is an
internet-based telephone service that enables its subscribers to
telephone each
other through their internet connection and enjoy free telephone calls;
not
just locally but internationally as well. Skype users can also call
mobile
phones and landlines anywhere in the world and pay very low rates. Even
if you
don't want to use Skype on your blog, installing Skype on your computer
is a
no-brainer.
Now what does
Skype have to do with blogging?
Well, you can
add a Skype widget to your blog
and invite your readers to use Skype so that they can chat live with
you.
If you have a
skill that you could teach via
Skype, you can apply to become an advisor on Skype Prime, set your fees
and get
paid by the minute when people call you for a consultation or lesson.
This kind of
service could be marketed directly
from your blog where you are of course discussing similar issues
through the
articles and videos that you post.
As you can see
if you use Skype, it is just one
more tool but potentially a very powerful one that enables you to
connect more
closely with your blog readers, offer them a much better service and
quite
possibly make more money at the same time.
I
wish you the best of success,
